  • What does the personal certification entail?
    There are three (3) types of certification Certificate of Participation (The Briefer) This is a 2 hour course that explain the parameters of the ISO-30415 Standard and DEI&B as a business process for corporate change management. Certification in Foundations of ISO-30415:DISM This is the a 4 to 10 week asynchronous course with live-virtual office hours. The extra weeks give time to add context on "what" equity inclusion and belonging mean in the locally. The USA, India, and S. Africa courses are 4 weeks. The Canadian and Latin American courses are 6 weeks. The France courses are 10 weeks. Certified ISO-30415:DISM Auditor This certification requires a foundations certification with ≥ 40 hours of practice under a mentor.
  • How long does the corporate certification take?
    This certification applies to companies, universities, governments, and all incorporated entities. Most ISO certification can take 2 years to achieve, but our process will allow your organization to achieve iterative growth over time, and clear certification levels in a few weeks. The organizational certification is an iterative and may be received at 3 of the 4 maturity levels across any or all of the 32 Domains of DEI. For instance, an organization may be able to prove a Maturity Level 1 in the Supplier Diversity domains. Certification expires every 2 years.
  • Can I create an internal auditor?
    Yes! Every organization with ≥ 1000 employees is required to train at least 1 internal auditor in the foundation of ISO-30415. We can help your organization use that same process to grow and submit your own documentation to The Forum for 3rd Party review. Enroll in one of our upcoming certification courses.
  • How Does This ISO Added Value
    The International Organization for Standardization ISO is the highest order for worldwide standards. The knowledge and understanding of applying the ISO 30415 standard that an organization's team gain through a certification such as the DISM Program provides your organization with the immediate benefit of having a team ready to follow a global consensus for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. ISO standards bring several benefits to organizations.   • Terms and Conditions: What are the specific terms of the certification?
    The specific terms and conditions depend on each organization and its needs. When considering the ISO 30415 compliance certification, deciding whether your organization aims for partial or full compliance certification is part of the process and will define the terms and conditions.
  • Audience Value: What is the value for our costumers in having this certification?
    Reference Value Add FAQ: The DISM certification will support your team in applying the ISO 30415 standard within your organization. Additionally, the value of complying with ISO standards for the client market may include improving quality control and service consistency, improving communications, for example: complaint management, improving and monitoring client market needs, among others. It is important to understand that the value that complying with an ISO standard may bring to client markets is dependend on each organization and each organization is responsible for deciding and executing the best strategy to best serve their clients and bring them the most value.
  • Development and Implementation: What will our journey look like?
    The development and implementation journey of any ISO standard is a specific, long-term, and significant investment. In your organization case, there will be additional investments to be made. The implementation and development phases that your organization has completed may fulfil some or none of the guidelines of the ISO 30415 standard. Your current EDI serivces/policies/structures within your organization must integrate with the ISO 30415 standard - not vice versa. The DISM Maturity Assessment is one way to identify the possible areas of integration/relevance of your in-house EDI serivces/policies/structures to the ISO 30415 standard.
  • Framework and Skills: Does the certification provide the knowledge to create a framework or the skills to conduct assessments? We already have a solid framework.
    How are you qualifying the solidity of your framework? This certification equips EDI professionals with the knowledge and tools to apply the ISO 30415 standard and assess the organization internally. By implementing the ISO 30415 standard, your current EDI organization's framework will be aligned and sustained by an ISO standard, while adhering to a global EDI consensus and UN sustainability goals.
  • What is the Audit Process?
    The audit stage is the last stage of the organizational journey to reach a certification of compliance after actively working on applying the ISO 30415 standard, having gone through an assessment, development, and strategic phases. Organizations equipped and certified to work with ISO 30415 will be qualified to audit other organizations.
  • Industry Examples: We couldn't find any organizations that have adopted this ISO standard. Could you provide examples?
    This standard was only published in 2021, it is relatively new, but very similar to ISO 9001 & ISO 27001. During our training process we reference redacted case studies and may potentially identify another company that is available to share information, but it is their choice and their data, and per the General Data Protection Regulation, we keep strict rules around confidentiality. We can share with you again the organizations that have trained in-house team members in the ISO-30415:DISM methodology to support the ISO standard understanding the value of getting ahead of the curve.
